The fig2vect program converts Fig drawings - created using XFig, jFig or WinFig - to MetaPost, PS/EPS, PDF, TeX or SVG files.
The software is licensed under the terms of a BSD-style license.

MetaPost, PS/EPS, PDF and TeX are intended for use with LaTeX/pdfLaTeX. The MetaPost file can be processed using the mpost program, the resulting *.mps file can be used with both LaTeX and pdfLaTeX.

SVG output is intended for use on web sites.

Special features:

Fill patterns are implemented using vector graphics operations, not bitmap images.

Flexible font selection.

Support for Fig files containg the texts UTF-8 encoded.
